The Be Still Media Fellowships are individual $10k prizes awarded to eight artists each year. This is a unique opportunity for artists dedicated to advancing their creative vision. Open to previous finalists and winners of Be Still Media, the $10k fellowships will award sponsorship for current or newly proposed projects, giving recipients the resources to bring their most inspiring and ambitious works to life.
Be Still Media is an enlivening global community of artists and media makers. Connected by the Power of the Prompt, our artists are influencers of expansive creativity, integrity and excellence. With head, heart and art, their works refract light in the world, imaginatively informing us about what makes us human.
Important dates
Be Still Media aims to inspire, guide and convene influencers.
Fellowships are open to all finalists and winners of Be Still Media.
Applicants must submit a project proposal detailing their vision, goals, and how the fellowship prize would amplify their work’s impact.
Submissions must include:
1️⃣ WHO: Provide the link to your finalist or winning entry, including artist statement and artwork.
2️⃣ WHAT: Tell us about your project and Include any relevant work that has been made to this point as well as a budget where the fellowship proceeds would be applied.
3️⃣ WHY: Tell us the reason for this particular project, its purpose and your motivation to make it.
4️⃣ HOW: Share how you envision this project engaging in the world: who is your audience and in what venues, platforms, communities would you like to see it showcased?
