In any negotiation, if you're not willing to walk away... you've already lost. Know your value and understand that your life does not depend on any human, but on God.
How has media/arts affected you?
I believe that purpose drives us... in my case it was into the creative space. Media has impacted my career because it has allowed me to harness the gifts that God has given me to inspire audiences.

How do you ‘be still’?
Luckily I can 'be still' with great ease, sometimes green spaces help, nature or a snooker table, I'm not fussy, it's half of what we're built to do, after traveling great distances, we must rest.

I join with my mother and rescue animals, wherever they are.
How has the arts affected your life?
For me, the arts have always joined in the physicality of stillness and pattern, music and history, together with math and science, performing and poetry. The arts keep joining me to myself and all beings, now circling us around to that first question, it turns out!

How do you “be still “?
I practice stillness at sunrise. My preference is to forego a little shut-eye and head outdoors before the house begins to stir.
How has media/arts impacted your career?
Being involved in the media for over 30 years has shaped and informed my expansive and ever-changing view of humanity. As a storyteller, it's been a privilege to help give voice to the voiceless and share their sometimes painful journeys.
